The Medically Vulnerable Population Registry is a database that can be used by the Linn County Health Department, Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services, and Linn County Law Enforcement for communicating with individuals that may have special needs during emergency response situations. This database tries to reduce adverse impacts on vulnerable populations throughout Linn County, and assists with planning and response during times of disaster.

Registration is Voluntary
This information is used for planning and emergency response. It will not be share with outside entities, and will be kept confidential.

Who Should Sign Up for the Registry?
Individuals with special medical needs include those who would need assistance with medical or personal care during evacuations and sheltering because of physical or mental impairments. Please sign up for the registery if you or a loved one…
- Use life support systems; such as oxygen, a respirator, a ventilator, dialysis, a pacemaker, or are insulin dependent
- Have trouble walking or moving around
- Are visually impared, hard of hearing or deaf, or have other sensory ailments
- Have speech, developmental or mental health disabilities
- Use service animals.
